The Great Library of Hiabuor is my own website devoted to the Dragon Warriors RPG. In addition to providing hosting for this forum, I've used it to share maps, and some gaming material relating to the game. I'm particularly proud of my maps of the capital of Albion, the great city of Ongus, and of my description of the Rathurbosk Bridge.

As requested, I have added three of my convention scenarios to the Library of Hiabuor at http://www.libraryofhiabuor.net/adventures.html

The three I have added are Wither'd Murder, A Duty to be Done, From Four, Comes All.

Please remember, these are written so I (and occasionally somebody else) can run the games at conventions. They are not intended to be 'publication quality'.

They are part of a series that builds on previous adventures, not all of which are available for various reasons.

Note that comments and criticism on these adventures is welcome. I'm running a couple of these a year, and if I can improve them, great.

I also wouldn't mind any comments or criticism folks have on the adventures I have here.

They're on the same page as Shauns, down at the bottom. :)

Btw, who (or what) is Hiabuor?

From the Dragon Warriors rulebook, p155:

The hereditary keepers of the Rathurbosk are organized into a number of ancient clans, each with its own specified function. The duul Guidor clan are the administrators, and their head is called the Collector - i.e. the collector of tolls and trade taxes. Many of the subsidiary families who were originally instated as the armed garrison have become absorbed into this clan, so the duul Guidors also enforce the law. Trilothi duul Guidor, eldest son of the present Collector, is thus head of the Rathurbosk Guard. Since the Blasting of Spyte many of the families have become slightly inbred and somewhat mad. Emil duul Guidor, great-grandfather of the present Collector, was notorious for levying whimsical tolls on any adventurers who wished to cross into the interior of Krarth. Our visitor may meet such notables as Hiabuor the librarian, Rauk the wizard, Vaturien the message-taker, or florid Gutmooto, who keeps the Flynt Ridd — and he may end up doubting the sanity of any of them!

In my own games, Hiabuor has become quite a significant NPC - his library is still in development and not yet as 'Great' as its name implies, but his aim is to gather together copies of every significant book in existence. He's a bit nutty and believes that the Rathurbosk will survive the end of the world, so he wants to store all the world's knowledge on it - his ultimate vision is for the entire bridge to be a library (the other residents of the bridge would probably disagree!). He has money (from unknown sources) to buy just about any book but will also pay for the right to simply have a book copied if he can't get it any other way - and he's not beyond hiring people to 'acquire' books he cannot purchase.

I have made a small update to http://www.libraryofhiabuor.net/ adding a link to Dave Morris' Facebook group for Dragon Warriors, and adding an archive of some useful files rescued from the old DRAGWARS forum.
