Dragon Warriors

Kubluu left the warriors behind and continued on his way, the number of other travellers began to wane as dusk approached and his donkey began to twitch worriedly as the shadows lengthened and hunting cries began to echo over the scrub and grassland.

Ahead he saw an acacia kraal with flaming brands placed high up on its gate, he was challenged in a language he did not recognise and then again in Wagandan from the post above the gate.

" Do you need shelter? We have room, Brother."

OOC: Barter arrangement, accommodation for rations... Not sure what meat I'd be carrying, small prey, monkey meat, rodent flesh...?

OOC: I think we need to define 1 weeks rations. Especially for the prince, he'll need some luxury items and would need to pay more in terms of pails of milk and cattle. Or a whole years worth of cattle dung.

As Kuublu rode into the kraal he noted a number of other groups of travellers within. Most were encamped under a series of awnings.

There were three huts within, apparently belonging to the permanent occupants of the kraal. A small herd of goats was contained by an internal fence.

Kuublu swings in, swaggering as one that befits his station. That means walking heavily, greeting anybody with a loud voice and smiling or nodding and trying to find the best spot. He won't move for anyone but he'll be happy to pay more, if he can afford it.

A group of rug merchants make way for Kuublu and offer him one of their wares to sleep on.

Others sleeping in the kraal regard him with some curiosity but they all have an early start in the morning and soon they are sleeping.

The two men tasked with guarding the gate are relieved when the moon crosses the spar support of the largest dwelling and they make a game of tossing stones at a hyena sniffing about the edge of the kraal fence near the goats.
