I agree - we can't really take a group of civilians, including children - in pursuit of volucreth.

If only we had a sapper! Then we could tunnel our way out of this wooden cave. I don't mind heading back but it'll be a boring backtrack the way we came. Otherwise we'll have to machete our way out, and we only got 1. I was thinking going forwards since at least we'd get somewhere, but if you guys all wanna backtrack I'm find. Don't think it'll be fun to fight giant humanoid chicken with children....

I don’t know if backtracking is a good idea either. It’ll take us back to the volucreth compound, and it’d be the easiest path for the slaver band to track us along.

Trail blazing toward human lands might lead to more unknown encounters, but better the unknown then a compound of things we know want to kill/capture all of us.

Also, I’m at 3 hp out of 14, so if anyone has healing powers that’d be good to get before midnight. ;)

I don't have my books with me, so I can't remember how many HP you get (and how many MP it will cost me), but have Greater Healing from Chiemeka.

Yeah, its meant to be used one handed and paired with a shield.

Oooooh snap! Would I get my spear attack bonus with one of those? With a normal spear I have to go 2 handed. If I could get my spear attack bonus AND use a shield I would definitly need to buy myself one of those next chance I get!
