As Chiemeka seems to have been drawn into the fight (although I didn't see any rolls for Chiemeka's dagger thrust), he will continue to attack with his dagger, hoping that Buzwe will focus his attacks on the man he considers to be the greater threat...

Attack Buzwe with dagger: 3#1d20 5 11 4
ABR for dagger vs. Buzwe: 3#1d4 4 3 2

OOPS!!

That was Urukas Cleave action....not sure how your name got there. Have Edited now.

I've deleted your post for now cos it was based on my fuck up.

Pity - those were some decent rolls!

I'm considering Chiemeka going for broke with an Image of some sort of fiery beast (particularly if there's anything in local superstition about such a thing) combined with a blast of Dragonbreath - it would leave me completely without MP, but it might make Buzwe (or at least his other enforcer) think again about surrendering/fleeing as they haven't considered Chiemeka a threat up to now. Or it might get Chiemeka burned at the stake by supersitious villagers. Any opinions..?

Well....we can copy-paste the rolls for when you next wanna get all stabby, they're still valid. :)

The closest he can think of is a southern legend about a bird-like thing called Impundulu which is linked to lightning and thunder and blood...but it is a long way from where they are well known. There are a number of gods that are linked to fire.....it does occur to Chiemeka that Buzwe doesn't know whether or not the chain was broken on the valley fence....but he didn't seem to put much stock in the legends of the Bone Farmer anyway....or any magic really...

In fact, I think death by hanging is still a possibility in the UK for treason.

How many days to get back to Buzwe's village? Might as well send him along with his relatives. Maybe send a messenger to the nearest garrison and ask for some escort. Preferably not from Buzwe's garrison. We'll get someone, maybe Malim to do the temporary governing whilst we head to the capital.

OOC: any xp for all our hard work?

2 days with the ox cart.

6 xp each.

The 6xp includes the fight against the undead in the burrow?

Yep. Not that it matters anyway as you lot autorank each scenario.

Also Kuublu notes that his tomb blade has become heavy in his hand.

A -1 Assegai? Thats great. I didn't do anything dishonourable, point is if I don't bind you, I expect you to abide by the laws....

This body is going to start smelling....

Well.....you kinda did stab an unarmed prisoner in the back while he was fleeing from a deranged murderer....from his point of view. ( I mean Uruka killing the merc makes literally no sense except due to bloodlust.....from both their points of view). Also your a prince, your subordinates behaviour reflects on your standing.

Difficult to roleplay Chiemeka in this situation. As a man of peace and healing, and with a history of moving on from place to place, I'm struggling to find a reason why he would stay with the party. Kuublu he knows to be an honourable man, and Chimeka can excuse his actions as bringng a traitor to justice (and one who had threatened his family, if I remember the note in the knobkerrie correctly..?), but I feel as though Chiemeka would want to distance himself from Uruka's actions.

Maybe I'm just over-thinking this - kill them all and loot the bodies, right? ;)

I play computer games. The bloodlust is understandable.

We owe our lives to Uruka, so despite the 21st century act, Kuublu needs to return the favour to Uruka, but this really did feel like an assassins move. Kuublu was going to try to reduce Buzwe's sentence from death to dismemberment, though that might be worse than death....

Kuublu feels that the heavens judged him unfairly but he will have to just deal with it. And yes, we need Uruka, without him some undead chieftain would be killing innocents everywhere so despite Kuublus inclination to lawful good he will just have to resolve this somehow, at anothertime...
