Got a friend in HK who said the only time he'll swim is Malaysia since he doesn't trust public pools or beaches in Hong Kong. I swim in HK public pools all the time and its ... saline...

Nope I visited Pan Men, which is beside my hotel, tiger hill, Suzhou museum and lingering gardens. Didn't do much walking coz the nights were all spent getting drunk at KTV!

Malaysia is great! I go yearly to visit my relatives and best part is it's just a bridge away from Singapore.

My better halfs from Indo so we are there every 3-4 years, I did a lot of backpacking around Malaysia in my younger days and some multiple week jungle treks in Sabah more recently.

I'm too old to spend nights getting drunk these days, plus I worked as a club bouncer in my younger days and seeing the messier side of it on a nightly basis makes it less fun to indulge in. :)

With your local knowledge and with me just being a dumb semi-regular visitor bule I'd be pleased if you would look over The Thousand Island ebook in the fan projects section and tell me what you think/add some ideas of your own. :)

I think we should have a 'general discussion' thread. No reason dragwars fans can't talk about video games and other stuff outside of dragwars.

Discovered a 23 year old eastern european fan of bloodsword series, he's running the gamebooks for a party....

China, yeah, it looks better when you go across the border to shenzhen. We seem to have a repulsive woman problem here. Course there are hot chicks but you really need to work in a major multinational to go anywhere near those places.

Aren't you in Hong Kong?

There are over 7 million people there, about 50% of them are women and about 99% of them are more attractive than us two put together.:D

Dwarves... lots of them. Strangely enough when you go across to shenzhen you get much less of them, some reason they eat better there. That hang up is quite justified when you spend years wondering why they're all short, dumpy looking. When they hear my crap cantonese they switch to mandarin, despite it being a 3rd language for me. I'm not that tall, 5'9", 176 but that makes me look like a foreigner in hobbitland.


Course we got tall people, thats when the mainland chinese people come in. Those Beijing chicks are massive....

My better half and most of my inlaws are around 5 foot. At only 173cms I feel like a giant. Its awesome. Plus being able to pick up you SO easily is kinda cool. :)
