(Sorry back - I really am sorry for these periodic absences).

Pulgil will decline healing for the moment. The wound is not minor, but nor is it particularly serious. She is ready to move on.

With healing declined and Etwa seeming to recover from his panic the party decided to move on....carefully...but which way?

The metal double doors lay ahead—of black wood bound with copper. There was the smaller stone door in the north wall,
and the passage leading off to the south.

Assuming, and hoping those doors will stay closed, Kuublu is inclined to head off down the passage.

"Begging your forgiveness your Highness...shouldn't we look behind these doors first, before leaving at our backs whatever may be lurking here?"

Ak'kulula looks from the metal double-doors to the smaller stone door. His gaze finally lingers on the stone door. Turning, he looks with pleading eyes at the Prince, and then the rest of his companions.

"I don't mind. Would you like to try those doors?"

Ak'kulula nods. Creeping stealthily to the smaller stone door, he puts his ear on the cool stone to listen. If he hears nothing, he will push on the door to open it slowly...

OOC -
Premonition check: 1d100 63
ESP check: 1d100 55

Both failures...:(

Hearing nothing Ak'kulula opens the door which swings easily on some ancient mechanism....or sorcery...

As Ak'kulula swings back the heavy door the companions note it opens onto a long hall. At the north end, your torch light falls upon a podium of ironwood carved to resemble a severe looking woman holding a flywhisk and seated on a buffalo her lips are pursed as if blowing a kiss at you. A silver bowl between the horns of her mount.

Etwa remarks, " It is Owa, sister-wife of Shan the god of the heavens....I did not know she was worshipped in the ancient times....I thought her followers had only recently come east....this is most interesting."

Beyond, another door leads deeper into the tomb.

Ak'kulula listens with interest to Etwa's account of the carving and the goddess it supposedly depicts. Knowing nothing of the deities of men, the name Owa means nothing to him, though the carving does show the goddess to be a serious grimfaced deity. The fact that such a dour looking goddess is blowing kisses does not make the lad feel at ease at all...

The story is interesting, but the long hall disconcerts the lad alittle. It is a long way to walk exposed and vulnerable to traps and other nasty attacks. Peering down the hall with his magically enhanced sight, Ak'kulula attempts to pierce the gloom and see what's on the walls, or even hidden behind them. He does the same with the floor and the ceiling.

OOC - Premonition and ESP: 1d100 73 1d100 42
Again a complete failure. But his See Enchantment is still ON.

Gesturing for his companions to step back out the stone door, he himself steps back as well. He picks up a pebble and casts it into the long passageway...

The pebble clatters against the stonework, as Ak'kulula peers towards where it landed he notes that the air itself around the likeness carries a diffused enchantment.

Kuublu advances in.

"Perhaps we should make an offering?"

OOC: Whats the best form of currency in this culture? Food? Maybe we can drop something in that silver bowl.
