Late into the night, Ak'kulula ends his meditation to take his turn at the watch. He gets up, nods at the Chieftain's Daughter as she goes back to her rest, and sits himself down at a spot which grants him a clear view of all approaches to the party's campsite.

His senses are primed to detect and respond to any potential danger, while his mind goes into a reflective state, going over again the events of the day, reliving each moment, seeking the secrets hidden in the harmony of moments...

Kuublu snores loudly and will attract any nearby predators....

Ak'kulula fingers the feathered headband on his head thoughtfully, wondering what it does. He looks at Pulgil and nods, raising his hand to gesture west down the other way.

Pulgil is prepared to take the lead when everybody feels ready (or as ready as possible) to move off.

Gathering the others and getting ready the group heads to the left towards a rightward corner in the passageway...

As you approach the bend in the corridor, a stone gave way slightly under Pulgils feet. There is an ominous click.

Suddenly a massive black iron axe-blade swings out of the side wall—

OOC: Everyone failed their Perception checks to see the trap so its up to Pulgil to dodge it. Speed of 13.

Kuublu's eyes goe wide. Startled he almost dives backwards before steadying himself in case he sets off any more traps.

Pulgil manages to leap back, swearing several oaths in her native tongue, along the lines of why only idiots walk in front. But the gods sometimes look kindly on idiots!

Ak'kulula leaps back at the first click of the trap being sprung. A look of relief shows on his face as he sees that Pulgil had escaped the trap without injury. He creeps forward gingerly. "I will walk in front."

Reaching out with his otherworldly senses, the Mystic probes the way ahead for danger or other presences, moving forward slowly...

Premonition check: 1d100 1 vs 39%
ESP check: 1d100 12 vs 11%

That iron axe blade... can I somehow break it off? I think it would make an excellent axe head....
