"Perhaps we should make an offering?"

OOC: Whats the best form of currency in this culture? Food? Maybe we can drop something in that silver bowl.

OOC: Owa is worshipped along with Shan and other gods within the empire. Although not a worshipper himself Kuublu knows the following about Owa.

Sacred Number: 9
Sacred Places: the marketplace, wind and the gates of the cemetery
Sacred Colors: brown or burgundy, plus nine different colors (no black)
Sacred Tools: machetes, masks, scythe, horsetail fly-whisk (iruke)

OOC: Assuming that Kuublu doesn't set off any traps, maybe 9 green pebbles would be suitable? Who's got it?

Chiemeka has the pouch with the green gems. If everyone agrees, he will place them reverently in the bowl...

Ak'kulula trusts in Chiemeka's wisdom and does not protest but watches carefully to see the impact of the action.

As Chiemeka begins to walk forward along the hall a howling gale suddenly springs up out of nowhere and the overwhelming force of the wind pushes back against him, preventing him from moving further forward....

Kuublu tries to hold himself stead as he reaches out to catch Chiemeka. Will retreat back out of the room.

Chiemeka is just able to not stumble and is assisted back by Kuublu, as soon as they have retreated back to the door the wind dies away to nothing.

Kuublu looks around awkwardly. "Perhaps she rejected the offerings. Perhaps one with purity and undisturbed virtue can make the offering?"

Kuublu looks around for a virgin and his eyes fall on Ak'.

The lad meets the Prince's gaze with bewildered, wide-open eyes. "Your Highness. I do not think that is how this works. The key to pass through this hall likely resides in elsewhere in this tomb. But I shall give it a try nonetheless." He nods once, takes up the gems, and attempts to enter the passageway, walk to the end, and offer them to the goddess by placing them in the silver bowl.

OOC - I have no recollection whatsoever of this. But I believe the key to pass through likely is some item in the other passageways we passed by earlier.

Despite his best efforts Ak'kulula gets no further than Chiemeka did.
