Kuublu takes a stance alongside Ak'.

"Back off! You do not belong in the realms of the living!"

Kuublu will naturally fight if they do not respond.

Seven of the silent grinning forms poured towards the doorway, coming up against Kuublu, Pulgil and Ak'ululu as Chiemeka and Etwa hung back.

Three of them attacked Kuublu who smashed ones skull to fragments, but not before one of the others dealt him a heavy blow ( -3 hp).

Ak. smashed out with the staff scattering bones before him, and like Kuublu took a blow to his ribs in return. ( -3 hp).

Pulgil lifted a skull off of a spine with her spear, and ducked aside from the other skeleton before her.

Their enemies now reduced to four, the companions rallied.

The boy falls back grunting in pain as the stone dagger cuts a shallow wound and scraps over his ribs. His young body riddled with wounds, blood streaming down his face and torso, he is looking rather rough. Undaunted, Ak'kulula brings his staff back into a thrust and tries to push back the skeleton but his blow goes wide...

Attack skeleton: 1d20 17 1d6 4 vs Attack 12.

Kuublu gies a warcry, he shows the whites of his eyes as he glares at them.

Kuublu cried out as he attacked but was unable to land a blow on his opponent, though he did remain untouched himself.

As Ak'kululas blow went wide he stumbled and the bony nightmare attacking him was momentarily off balance and missed his form.

Pulgil took a punishing blow to the ribs but returned the favour twice-fold scattering more bones on the stone floor.

The fourth skeletal corpse pushed past Kuublu and ran towards Etwa and CHiemeka its club raised over its empty skull....

Ak'kulula stumbles but not for long. Sweeping low with his staff, he attempts to trip the skeleton rushing past him.

Trip skeleton: 1d20 8 1d6 3 vs Attack 12.

Chiemeka pushes Etwa behind him and (assuming Ak doesn't manage to trip the skeleton), thrusts at it with his staff, hoping to use its momentum against it.

Attack roll: 16

A very slight improvement. Hopefully my Warding spell is still in operation...

Frustrated, Kuublu roars in rage. Perhaps he should've had got a two handed knobkerrie, that would've been more effective.

As Chiemeka pulled Etwa to safety, Ak. tumbled his opponent into a pile of bones and both Pulgil and Kuublu destroyed those still standing.

The group now notice a huge stone casket by the south wall. It is sealed with a strange iron clasp bigger than a man’s fist.

Kuublu kicks away some of the bones. He hopes they will stay dead and consider some form of burial. Perhaps the dead will remain buried. But he has no understanding of such things. He will nod to Ak' whilst keeping his thoughts to himself.
