Sorry - I'm probably being really dim here, but howareyou's post implied that Chimeka cast the spell where Ak could hear him muttering and that it didn't work, but you're saying that Ak and Kuublu have climbed out of the well to see the light from the Moonglow. So has Chiemeka been in the well yet?

Ak'kulula's eyes flick over to the blade that Kubluu picked up from in the pit. His enchanted sight studies the item carefully...

It does not appear to be magical, though it is untarnished...possibly due to the clay at the bottom of the well....the hilt is however encrusted with five large cut diamonds and it is likely worth more than the collective villages of this entire region.

OOC: what are the dimensions? Kuublu is inclined to wield it but if its just a dagger...

OOC: About 8 inch blade length, 3 inch wide. Total length 16 inches.

OOC: that’s a dagger. Kuublu will stow it away for now. Maybe he can gift it or something.

Ak'kulula has some vague notion that this is probably a very valuable piece - folks back in cities will probably pay cartloads of shiny metal for it. He turns away in disinterest.

"It is...strange...is it not? For a passage to end at such a pit. Filled with enchanted darkness."

The Mystic studies the passageway - the walls, the ceiling, the floor - in order to try and discern the purpose of this passageway and the magically dark pit at the end.

OOC - Ak isn't too interested in the obviously (obvious to me the player) very valuable dagger. But I am. Heh.. We are holding such loot in common and distributing them when we get out according to party consensus right? :)

Kuublu nods. He will lead the party beyond the passageway where she was standing in.

The northern branch of the corridor, where the the spirit was lying in wait, extends only a few metres and then
ends in stout ebony doors bound with iron. The light comes from a glowing amber globe hanging from the ceiling.

Shining your torch west, you discover that the transverse corridor also ends in double doors after another eight or ten metres.

I think we should head North now.

The group heads back towards the ironbound ebony doors....
