Chiemeka decides not to push his luck, and falls back to leave the fighting to the others. He will support with magic depending on how the fight appears to be going.

Kuublu and Uruka dashed in striking again and again at the dead thing which struck out at them in turn. Kuublu and Uruka carved sections of leather hide off the towering figure but their blades rang off the figures armour or were deflected by the heavy loops of iron rings about its forearms.

They ducked back to catch their breath even as it advanced on them again...relentless and silent...

Uruka wonders if enchanted weapons are needed. He continues striking with renewed vigor.

The two men dived back into the fray and Kuublu landed another solid blow with his assegai, he was retreating under cover of Urukas ipa when the dead thing lunged suddenly and impaled Kuublu on the 'horns' of its weapon.

Uruka attacks again.

Hurting, Kuublu rushed back in beside Uruka. The combatants struck in quick succesion, Uruka landed a mighty blow that staggered it back and prevented it from hitting Kuublu again. But his elation was cut short as it raked the 'horns' across his back opening deep furrows in his flesh.
