Chiemeka winces at Kuublu's wound, but continues to hang back for now, suspecting there is little point using magic to force the creature away as his companions would just chase after it... If he can get a clear shot, he will shoot Dragonbreath at it, but will only use Hold off the Dead if his companions specifically call for it.

Kuublu snarls as he throws it off along with a piece of his arm. He sidesteps to create a wider opening and stabs with his Assegai.

Kuublu struck back but the dead thing shifted at the last moment, Uruka could not find the opportunity to strike and almost lost his footing.

Chiemeka unleashed a gout of flame but the corpse seemed to hear his muttering and dropped to all fours, as the fire passed over its head it lurched upwards and sank its ruined teeth into Kuublus thigh, gulping down the chunk of muscle as it skittered back. ( -4 hp)

Kuublu gives a cry of pain and you think you overhear some muttered swearwords. He grasps his assegai with both hands and brings it down on the undead humanoid....

The dead creature slipped between Kuublus legs evading his blow and leapt toward Uruka but was batted aside at the last moment, a jet of flame issued again from Chiemekas hands but the snapping thing evaded both it and Urukas blows.

The corpse-thing turned towards Uruka, he struck at it but it ducked aside it leapt towards him but a spat curse from Chiemeka seemed to stymie it for a moment and it plunged back to earth well short of him as it drew itself up Kuublu ran it through from behind with his assegai. A mortal wound if their foe had been a man.....but no man it was and it tore itself off the sacred weapon and span about to face Kuublu again.
