Kuublus blow sliced through the shade and it vanished with a high pitched scream.

The assegai felt warm in his hand once more and a few more intricate carvings appeared on the shaft.

Kuublu glares around in case it comes back. His narrowed eyes suddenly widen as he runs to Uruka, grabbing at Chiemeka.

Noting theres no pulse he looks desperately at the Medicine man....

Kuublu reads Chiemekas expression. It confirms what he knew, not being new to death and the battlefield. Lips trembling, arms shaking, he embraces an old comrade who stayed by him since

Chiemeka closes Uruka's eyes and folds his arms across his chest. He then stands a moment in contemplation, before turning to Kuublu and saying quietly, "We should take his body away from this cursed place."

Slowly, reluctantly Kuublu responds. Time to take this body outside.... wonder if we can find enough dry jungle vegetation to build a pyre.
