In a flash of inspiration, Chiemeka calls upon the Goddess of Forest and Jungle, Neb-nofre, to make the tree grow tendrils to slow or stop his fall (i.e. he casts Tangleroots).

Kuublu sheds tears as he thinks of a dear friend, who stayed with him for all these years, who kept everyone alive and stood by him all this time. All the great times, a passing memory. If Kuublu survives all this, he will ask the elders to sing songs so that he will never be forgotten...

Kuublu covers his face, the sorrow is great, he prays to the ancestors to welcome Chiemeka, embrace him back to the earth, and lead him to the abundant forests in the spirit world...

Chiemekas prayer was seemingly heard as long ropy liana reachd out from the trunk and bound him in place about 10m below Kuublu and Uruka.

Kuublu doesn't notice at first as he tries to stifle his outburst. After a while he'll figure out Chiemeka doesn't need to be scrapped off the forest floor, he will lower his rope with glee and thank the ancestors for the outcome....

We still need to get up the tree. What say we use a javelin to help create a foot hold?

Assuming that there is a lot of activity, Kuublu suggests we lower ourselves back to the forest floor, and we either get out of here, or sneak in whilst they search.

Lets quickly tie the rope and clamber down 10m, then get down.
