Jaafan smiled at the outcome of their trip in to the cave, agreeing to Kuublu’s suggestion that he trail behind and keep feeding the cub. It was good that they had managed to care for the injured cub after killing it’s father. He whistled a happy tune as the travelled. |

The four men continued on the road to Kiongozi with their new companion, occasionally drawing curious glances from passing merchants as they tried to identify the tag-a-long. Around evening they came across a lively campsite with a trio of wagons and recognised some of the soldiers and civilians from their own group among those gathered there. As they moved into the centre of the camp a familiar voice called out. Bathwanda grinned, " So...not dead then?" |

Kuublus dragging a lot of bones, sometimes he gets spiked with fangs and other things as he waves away the flies. "Whole family of them! We killed the male, didn't want to exterminate them, though I think we should've, they taste awful!" |

Kuublu finds one of the old merchants who is trading skins and leather, " I can work these, but know that the older they get the more brittle, it'll provide some protection for a couple of months in dry weather....it'll still look good though.....I can do it..." |

Kuublu will proceed and request for his services. Perhaps the smith can retain some parts for making souvenirs or combs.... Oh and he'll lead the grup to see his father. Need to get his badge of authority if its retrievable. |

Jaafan will attend the meeting with Kuublu’s father, but he spends his free time with Bathwanda and the cub. |

Kuublu will explain to the others some of the basics of etiquette when they actually see the great Chieftain. Although others would be there to help under any circumstances, it would be best not to make a mockery of oneself. Kuublu enquires about the time to work the bone, and whether he should just carry it to the capital first. |
