"Well that's torn it! Corvin mutters noting the jagged rent from Laila's seax.

Corvin slashes deftly at the closest fabric foe, hopefully dealing deadly damage

Attack 6 (hit's DEF 8), ABR 8 (Woot!) for hopefully 3 damage. He also makes his shield roll with a 1!

"This art could stand to be a little less lifelike," Lucky mutters as he attacks the nearest fabric figure with his spear.
(d20 roll of 1, 2d4 roll of 6)

Calder attacks with his sword, trusting his Armour to protect him.

Fixing Corvin with a look Laila slashed at the rug again. The rug tore and a wound appeared on one of the two dimensional warriors.

"Well that's torn it! Corvin muttered noting the jagged rent from Laila's seax.
Corvin slashed deftly at the closest fabric foe, dealing deadly damage.

"This art could stand to be a little less lifelike," Lucky muttered as he attacked the nearest fabric figure with his spear.

From Sten’s liedown on the tapestry he grabs handfuls of it, making a rent in the material.

Drystan swings at a warrior, but the blow sweeps by.

Bedwere knocks at a warrior, missing.

Bretwald backs away, careful to make sure that the lantern illuminates the fight.

Two warriors crumple away, folding into the air. The remaining four hack at Laila, Sten, Lucky & Corvin, but fail to land their blows.

Calder reached the battle as his fellows engaged. He will now be able to attack.

Corbin slashes wildly at the fabric foes but the blow goes wild.

Rolled a 20. GM please be merciful in applying fumble consequences!

Now that he can engage the enemies, Calder attacks the warriors with relish.

OOC somewhere in the world it’s GM appreciation day. Now we could view this with some cynicism as a “Hallmark holiday” or perhaps a “DrivethruRPG” sales spin... but let’s all embrace the spirit of the day and say “Thanks GM! Thanks for being our eyes and ears and arbiter of all things in our quest for adventure!”

OOC - wot a lovely sentiment. Thank you, Master Corvin. I would award you xp for that, but Dave Morris won't let me ;)
