Lucky eyes the magic wand with a mix of childlike wonder and dark suspicion. He gives Corvin a wide berth. "I feel like an ant crawling along the hour hand of one of those fancy mechanical clocks," Lucky whispers to Sten. "Unaware of its purpose or significance, just a simple animal that blindly wandered into something unnatural, heedless of how the very ground is about to move beneath my feet." |

The party meet again in the darkened corridor. Corvin and his fellow have come the south. The double doors of black wood lie to the west, with a narrower door set in the north wall. |
