Sten moves to the doors and pushes them open shoves a couple of large rocks against them to hold them open "Alright we are in let's do this!"He high 5's everyone as they enter. |

Sten and Calder put their backs into it, and slowly the stone doors push open. A blast of cold air hisses into your faces, the dry smell of old dust carried with it. Looking beyond the doors a short passage leads to a set of steps leading down into darkness. Two apiece you have gone into the Tomb. Bretwald lights his lantern so that you can see. "Slowly does it, and safely too. Sten looks down at Corvin and can't help but smile at his child like excitement and anticipation of what we might find. Sten claps Corvin on the shoulder "Who knows what we might find I have never gone into a tomb before .....I'm expecting bones" |

When a king is buried there’s bound to be grave goods - bountiful treasures interred with Vallandr as was the custom at the time. And knowledge. Who knows what ancient forbidden lore one might discover?” Corvin continues onwards, down into the tomb, eager to explore. |

The party descends, following the steps down into the Tomb. Slowly, with Bretwald's lantern giving them light. They find themselves at the eastern end of a long gothic-arched corridor four metres wide. A faded tapestry hangs along the wall to their left. It depicts a host of warriors locked in gory battle. |

Corvin examines the tapestry closely, beckoning Father Bretwald and his lantern closer to better discern the story, if any, it seeks to tell. He looks for clues as to Vallandr’s resting place within the tomb. “Careful Sir Sten. This is a rare and valuable artefact. It would make a fine gift for the Baron. Perhaps we can take it down on our way out? Corvin peers furtively behind the tapestry checking for any hidden doors or attackers. |
