Drystan and Corvin walk through the barrier. The lights fizzle around them, and they are through, remarkably not dead. The barrier closes itself again, the purple lights flickering around like a shimmering curtain. Through this, you see Laila, Sten, Drystan and Corvin on the other side, though the view seems "misty". "I'll try that goblet" says Bedwere, the scarred mage. |

Things were close to a conclusion here, one way or the other. Max could feel it in his bones. He knew that in the next few moments he’d either feel like a right wally or be called upon to act. |
