With help from Cobwebbed Dragon (who located where these features were, helped set them up, and made suggestions as to their use), two new 'roleplaying' style features have been added to the forum.
First of all new members can select a 'Profession' from the Dragon Warriors professions (official and otherwise - new ones shall be added where released). Existing members can select or change their profession by going to their User Control Panel, and the profile section. Anybody who doesn't select a profession is a 'Charcoal Burner'.
Secondly, as people post here, they will go up in rank - at the moment virtually everyone is 1st rank. You will received 1 experience point for every post you make - so people will move from 1st Rank to 2nd Rank after making 30 posts, to 3rd Rank after making 60 - all in accordance with the Dragon Warriors rules. Maybe this will encourage posting - but please don't post just to pad your post count. Posts can certainly be brief if a brief comment is all that is needed, but we don't want pointless posting.
Some people will have 'special titles' that supersede their rank - you'll see that I am a Malgash
The idea of these special titles is to allow for people with certain roles on this forum, or other reasons why it might be good that they are easily identifiable will be easy to see and identify.
