I have been attempting to implement the digest mode. It is available in peoples user control panels right now - but I have not yet been able to test it. Testing will happen when I see if it sends me a digest. People probably don't want to sign up for it, until I say it's been tested.

Even then it's likely to have a minor but annoying bug that I may not be able to remove quickly. We'll see.

I think I have digests working now, but we won't know for sure until digests start getting sent out automatically.

If you want to receive a daily digest, please go to your User Control Panel and you should find a Digest tab and if you go in there, it should be pretty obvious what you need to do to set up a digest.

If you do choose to receive a digest, please let me know if it works, and also let me know if you see any problems.

I've received the Digest, thanks.

I don't know if you can add any line-spaces (or a solid line?) between posts, because readability isn't great. Although 10-line signatures don't really help with that, either (without naming names... ;) )

I might change the format type from HTML to plain text and see if that makes a difference tomorrow, but it's great step forward and should be great for ensuring continued engagement for the folks that just want to dip in and out of this forum.

Cheers Shaun, the effort's much appreciated.

I got my digest too, it's great! Thanks Shaun for implementing this, I think it will help keep members informed even if they are not very active.

I agree with Lee about the readability but it's not that big an issue. You should consider having the digest defaulting to enabled, or at least ask the question when registering a new user. Again, i'm worried about people losing contact...
