Was watching Oliver Reeds 1961 curse of the werewolf recently. Is it possible to create an expansion focusing on the negative aspects? I haven't had time to read the books but I wonder whether book 3 and book 5 Oliver Johnson stuff could be expanded upon. Might create some interesting, unique and dark npcs, or players for that matter. Can we expand on cadavers, vampires, werewolves and all? I was thinking of a 'curse' system, only to be used in major events such as the killing of 10th rank knights or felling 12th rank sorcerors, a sort of 'vengeance' system by high level characters. I suppose the magic would run out if player characters cursed npcs on a combat round basis, but maybe it would be a fluff source book on haunted castles, walls that bleed and passages that echo screams.... Oh, and don't forget, expansion on madness and disease rules... and morale rules whilst we're at it... |

Pg 123 of the Corebook has a fair variety of curses, also the Doom that Mummys have ( and Lann and Colm in my PbP game are currently suffering from). Most of the " haunted house" stuff I'd probably just consider descriptive colour...maybe a few non-fatal fright attacks here and there... |
