I was wondering if some people use (or know) some softwares for their npc management (characteristics, equipment, relationships, even maybe add a picture describing the npc). Or maybe you use ,an old-fashioned way , a binder for their sheets? |

Last time I ran a game was using excel. Managed to get drying salts on my binder from the 90's. I figure one day I will actually take a photo of my notes and then discard the old folder. When you get drying salts on your books it'll never come off unless you want to try washing it. Lost a set of way of the tiger series because of that. Causes more damage using dehumidifiers than it preserves. |

Or maybe you use ,an old-fashioned way , a binder for their sheets? I use Microsoft OneNote as this enables me to synchronise my notes across multiple devices and I never know which device I'm going to have with me when inspiration strikes (I have an Office365 subscription). You can even get OneNote on a Mac, and works pretty well, which makes it a much better tool than anything Android-, Apple-, or Windows-specific. If you want to record NPCs electronically, I created an editable PDF template from the official character sheet that you're welcome to use - either to complete and print for a binder or embed into a OneNote page: http://www.cobwebbedforest.co.uk/downloads/DW_Official_Editable.pdf If you're interested in a dedicated tool for campaign management, I've heard good things about Campaign Logger (https://campaign-logger.com/), but I've never used it myself. And, lastly, if there's functionality you'd like the Dragon Warriors Character Generator (http://www.cobwebbedforest.co.uk/workshop/CharGen) to have, just let me know and I'll see what I can do - the whole point of the Cobwebbed Forest Workshop is to make a DW GM's (and sometimes the players') lives easier with, so my limited programming ability is at your command . |
