I have come to understand that this game is quite unbalanced and has many ways to become pretty powerful. |

I'm not exactly a big proponent of mechanical 'balance' but in terms of martial and social power knights come out on top in Western Coradia. Obviously Sorcerers and Demonologists are big hitters but other than places like Krarth its harder for them to avoid the negative consequences of fame. Others, it depends, Elementalists in Glissom...Priests in the seats of their religion, Barbarians 'everywhere' else... In terms of damage output in a white room....at high level....Elementalists can decimate entire settlements.... |

I said sorcerors and warlocks. Short term firepower over long term sustained combat. |

Sorcerors at higher level definitely, and Barbarians as they are in my game - high health points and attack with a few abilities thrown in at Rank 6-8+ (there are no Knights in the campaign, so I'll allow the Barbarian Main Gauche and maybe a few others). |

I think so - Knights and Barbarians are medium-firepower damage tanks. |
