Has anyone here ever drawn a map of Ferromaine (that isn't just a copy of Venice)?

I've got 9 days to draw my own version* and was wondering if anyone had anything (even a sketch) that would save me a lot of effort...?
* Before my PCs get there.

Thanks! :D

I think I'll be getting my inspiration from Venice... Seems fair, as that's what the game appears to allude to.

I would give you a link to my game but rpg.net forums are down for maintenance at the moment.

Ferromani Nights: Strange tales and Dreadful Deeds. Chapter 1 & 2.....when it comes back up. :)

EDIT:
I have now drawn a 'working copy' map of Ferromaine which I can use. I used several names from your campaign and the layout of the city is clearly Venetian... But I'm sticking a bit closer to the description in the book:
"Ferromaine, with a population of nearly a quarter of a million, is the largest city in the north. Approaching from the sea, even a voyager who is jaded by the splendour of other rich Coradian ports cannot fail to be impressed. More than a hundred elegant towers point to the sky. The tallest is more than 70 metres high, and each is covered with [elaborate] decorations in an effort to outdo the splendour of its neighbours.
Marvellous cathedrals and public buildings are everywhere in abundance. Sun sparkles off the harbour, bathes the pale stone of the Dyuch’s palace in a soft gold glow, glitters back in rainbow shards from magnificent stained-glass windows…"

Ferromaine is thus the City of Towers...
(The "Torrecitta"?)

Inspired by Damian May's excellent campaign(s) - yes, I read them - I finally got around to drawing a basic map of Ferromaine for my own use. Anyone who finds it useful is free to use it if they wish.

I've kept the details fairly basic as this is something of a "players' map". I may draw a more detailed map of the city itself, but don't hold your breath.
(I may even change the odd thing here and there as - as usual - I'm not terribly happy with the way this ended up. Ho hum.)

Not obvious on this map, but the Sestiere of San Selo is included, as is the Campo Dei Merari - with the large Meranite church of San Benedicto, the market, and the Colombo family estate...

SQUEE! SQUEE! SQUEE!

Oh my god you read them? I hope you were suitably entertained and appalled.

Of course I read them. A source of inspiration...

...the PCs in my game are now staying as guests of the Colombo family*. If they're not careful, they may also stumble across Il Martello...
* A letter of introduction provided by the father of one of the PCs.

I don't plan for my lot to stay long in Ferromaine, as they're headed for the Holy Land... But if they perform a suitable valuable service for the family, Antonio may assist them in finding a boat at a reasonable price.

As a member of the Colombo family, I can confirm that my dear brother Antonio is both trustworthy and one of the more useful people to know in Ferromaine, and that any scandalous rumors of any underworld connections or heretical beliefs are entirely unfounded.

Yours sincerely,
Signorina Maria de Colombo
