I thought during those medieval ages horses were a major feature. Perhaps we can expand on the existing rules. I can imagine we can add some features such as breed of horse, how riding horses would react in combat and getting wounded, what a horse would do during a fight with an ogre or vs elephants or whatever. As it stands the horses seem quite featureless.

There were many types of horses, some of them were good for dragging luggage around but not for riding. I think the fast ones came from the middle east? Based on what I've read online....

I mean, cavalry made a big contribution in battles. Perhaps Knights can be expanded, we can create a few additional skills related to horsemanship for the knights and barbarians? I suppose you're not going to ride into Vallander's tomb on a warhorse but I think galloping on the wrong terrain can be dangerous for horses right? Potholes and all?

Was the horsey stuff in the section entitled "The practical application of oats in hypersorcerous conflict"?

I jest. Not very well, but I still jest.

Well, since Knights and Barbarians can train warhorses, I suppose they have all the skills to recognize breeds and to train them from scratch. Might not be something you want to do whilst actively adventuring but I suppose they're not wandering straight from underwurlde to underwurldes.

I think book 4 had rules about training hippogriffs? Maybe its less dangerous training warhorses.

I'd hope training a warhorse was less dangerous than training a hippogriff - after all, a horse can't fly up 50 metres with a knight in its claws and drop the knight to soften up the hard shell and get at the tasty gooey insides. :)

Cheers,
