It has been suggested that people might like to share NPCs from their games. Seems like a good idea to me, so I've set up this thread. And will be posting one of mine in a moment.

Robard Mancaster, Earl of Mancaster and Baron of Ongar, Earl Marshal of Albion

Born the son of a dockworker in Ongus. He won a scholarship to the Guildhall School, before moving onto the University of Cantorbridge. At age 20, he joined the Ongus Militia and rose rapidly through the ranks. He was Knighted after managing to talk a group of rioters into dispersing, after refusing orders to open fire on starving, desperate people. He became Militia Commander by 30 and was created Baron of Ongar, to avoid a precedent of a commoner holding that position (previously holders had already been titled at appointment). In the twenty years since then, he has become known as the man who holds the city of Ongus together, respected by the city authorities, and the Crown. In 980AS, a plot by a number of nobles to seize control of the Royal Treasury was brought low when he seemed to join the plot in order to end it. He pleaded guilty of High Treason at his trial, but was cleared regardless and elevated to the Earldom of Mancaster, and made Earl Marshal of Albion.

He's one of my more developed NPCs - used in my regular campaign, and also a major character in my DW novel. I've had to put a lot of time into him.

I've even got a few more details I will add later. :)

That was the wrong charactersheet. Here's what he looks like.

6’1”, 208lbs. Warrior in dark worn clothing not native to Albion. Dark leather gloves, full helm and Plate mail. Speaks with a deep sounding continental accent. Never takes off full helm. Tends to tilt head to the right. Always speaks behind the muffle of a full helm.

If helm is removed you will find he is horribly repulsive, deep red hair where there is still hair left, more than half his face is burnt horribly. No nose, just two nasal passages. What remains of his left eye would have been intensely attractive with well cut eyebrows and dark brown eyes. As it is the right side of his face is in a permanent grimace. Does not have a problem with eating, but sometimes when he bares his lips in anger or fury he resembles one of the living dead with a visible grinning death mask imposed on his features.

23, male.

When eating, food dribbles out the side of his mouth. When drunk or on the bier saliva flows freely down the side of his face and he doesn't bother to wipe.....

Sir Basril, you sure want him on your side!

https://uk.groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/ ... ssages/383

As for Sir

"The Witch! The Witch! I see her! Quick! Kill her before we fall under her spell!!!"

*Readies a dagger for throwing*

"Don't worry lads! I've got it under control! Won't be long!"

How far before I pin her to a tree?

Sir Basril is 'bewitched'. Will hough the horse of the enemy knights that get close and try to avoid these weak minded fools who fell under her spell.

*Charges after Sir William*
"Quick! We can talk later! Lets get the bloody hell out of here!"

*Glares at any of these players who try to come close*

https://uk.groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/ ... ssages/435

I do not think Sir Basril is with the parley group, but the lines here are
blurring summat.

"With all due respect, Sir Basril, you are recently turned from Sir Stephen's
company. Nary on 5 minutes ago you were pursuing the woman to cut her down,
now you want to defend her virtue? One from our side ought to stand for the
lady"

https://uk.groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/ ... ssages/444

The two square off and prepare to fight while Sir William protests "I can not honour this if he loses!"

But he should have more faith in Sir Basril. Something the rest of you lack when you see that Sir Basril is wearing chainmail and is armed with a short sword, as opposed to Sir Stephen in plate armour and a proper sword.

Sir Basril strikes first, "Let me show you the light!" he cries as he manages to draw first blood. But Sir Stephen strikes back the blow glancing of Sir Basrils mail but injuring him none-the-less. The two swing at each other again and again, but armour or nerves prevent them from landing a blow upon the other, till Sir Basril stirkes again.
"Lies blind you to the truth!" (Another 3Hp wound.)
"Yield! Or taste this blade!" (And another.)
"No rest when I send you to hell!" When this wound falls Sir Basril has only suffered one blow, but the fight continues and his luck appears to run out, Sir Stephen lands two crushing blows in quick succession, and you look nervously at Sir William and his sister.
But with another stab with his sword, crying out "Descend the depths and burn!" the outmatched and seemingly insane Sir Basril triumphs, his sword slipping past the defence of his opponent and plunging into the heart of Sir Stephen. Sinking to the ground brusied from his wounds, Sir Basril (one one health point) removes his blade from his foe, his vow to slay his opponent completed.

I need to come up with some original ideas for being ugly. Next time I roll up a looks 3 person... I've already played the retard due to some bad rolls in character creation...

Hm.. yeah, I think Luxiex was based on Darth Vader/Darkman.... and WW2 movies....
