"My apologies to you. I did not intend to be rude to any of you. But I have heard stories about those people and I fear more than just impoliteness from them. Life can be dangerous."
(To the older woman)
"I am sorry for your loss as well. You lost your husband and sons? A single tragedy is hard enough. A multiple one is so much harder and also so much more likely to be less accidental. Life can be dangerous. I do not wish to pry but I could not forgive myself if I did not ask a person I could perhaps help - are you fearing dangers? Do you need... can I assist?"

Chiemeka smiles approvingly at Pulgil's offer of help for the women.
"Well said, my new friend! If there is any way at all that we can be of assistance, we will do all that we can"
The two younger women looked unsure, but the older one fussed them away.
" If you want to walk with us until the tradetown then that would be fine.", she grinned. " There are always those who might chance robbing an old woman and her daughters."
She smiled at Pungil, " My husband died because he was old and stupid...my sons because they took after their father.", she bit her lip and looked at her bond-daughters.
" My husband was killed because he would not bend his neck, my sons because they were too eager for revenge. My people have a saying, Revenge is like an egg...sometimes you need to sit on it a long time before it hatches at full strength."
" My sons were not much for nesting....and so now we are here."
