DW Book 6, page 40 refers to "silver Matapans" as the currency of Ferromaine, but is silent on other coinage.
(I suspect this was Dave Morris making a subtle reference to a famous naval battle...)I am tempted to say that Ferromaine now mints a gold
Ducat (an equivalent of the Gold Crown), while the equivalent of the Copper Penny is officially known as the
Centesimo; but more often referred to as a
Piccolo (pl.
Piccoli).*
