Where did you meet Egg, Roger.?" " And did you want to get out of here?" "It's quite nice in here, Laila. Maybe I could go out if, as you say, the dogs are gone. " Egg, she's my sister. I met her over by what I think they call Egg-ham." " Where did you live before that? I have not seen someone like you before." "I don't know anyone else like me. I've lived here as long as I remember." Laila reached out for the childs(?) hand controlling her hesitation, and racked her brain to see if this little thing resembled her bestemors tales of the huldrafolk, or tomten or something else...though how helpful Mercanian tales would be in this strange country who knows. Roger puts his hand into Laila's. It's warm to the touch and scratchy. Laila's brain racking tells her that this creature is something like she would have heard in her tales at home. Laila can't recall if she heard good or ill about such a being, but she did remember that politeness was key when dealing with such Good Folk. "Did you want to come out now, Roger? " Alrighty then.", she leant forward and placed a gentle kiss on Rogers dirty, fay head then turned and began squeezing her way out. |

Laila carefully made her way back to the entrance of the hollow, blinking in the sunlight as she emerged..... |
