Laila can tell that there seems to be a roughly beaten trail that she could easily follow. To something.

Sten recognises the man. He was part of the Saxton village guard. Not the brightest of chaps, or the most memorable.

Laila heads off down the trail a little way to see if it comes to something soon....

After stowing his loot Corvin mutters darkly about fools traipsing off the road into unknown danger and then motions to the remaining party members to follow them

"I'll follow on this time.." mutters Godric. "But as soon as we reach Saxton, I'll be taking my leave. This has got too exciting for a simple bloke like me."

Eyeing the sore-covered corpses and shuddering at the memories they drudge up, Lucky starts gathering the driest branches he can find for firewood. "I'll stay and burn the bodies. I don't want any miasma to spread from this cursed filth. I guess I'll meet you farther up the road, unless you yell for me or send someone to fetch me. Be careful."

Sten looks at Bretwald "why dont you stay with Lucky and do last rights mayhaps these poor mislead souls could be yet saved".
"Lucky stay near by we will be back very soon" he says clapping his friend on the shoulder.
