Laila leaves the room quickly before any angry looking deific fishermen from the Principalities appear in the room. She moves some 2 metres down the corridor holding up here lantern. |

Having recently prayed and achieved a sense of serenity from his duties at the altar, Fr. Bretwald is, to say the least, strangely confused by Calder's activity. Drawing himself up to his full considerable height, perhaps for the first time, the party may realise that he was not always a village priest. His eyes lit with anger, he denounces in a tone full with righteous indignation: "FOUL BOY!!! Have you no respect for the station of the Saviour who perished for YOUR sins? Is it not enough for you that we stand upon the threshold of greatness in the Tomb of Vallandr, himself, that you would try to take the very Saviour's cross? Get ye down now and make recompense for your misdeeds. PRAY BOY!!!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Laila's illumination shows her that, perhaps another ten metres down, the passageway takes a turn to the east. |
