I've shoved your details into here, just so I have a record to hand.

Taradoc’s back story (with GMs approval of course!)

Born to a skilled but relatively poor Salomonian River man and his wife, Taradoc Wolfrun was so named after, as a baby, he once naturally played with some Wolf cubs being transported down the Whitewater River by a Ranger.

As a boy, Taradoc assisted his father in ferrying goods and passengers along the river network of the Pagan Plains and up and down the shore of the mighty Western Ocean between the Skull Coast and the Dragon Reaches.

Taradoc learned much of the world from the travellers they transported, the places they saw and also from the few old books that his father, a surprisingly erudite man, kept in the small family home.

It was by chance, that as a young man abd now trusted to operate independently, Taradoc would ferry Jared Firestone, an adventurer who having seen the world was retiring to Oyster Bay.

Seeing Taradoc’s enthusiasm to learn about the world beyond his home city, Jared was only too happy to impart his wisdom and skill with a sword to the eager young man and as the months went by Taradoc proved himself competent with a blade and possessed of common sense, if a little brash.

In recognition of his skill, Jared bequeathed his battered but well cared for leather jerkin and Falchion to Taradoc who now above all else wanted nothing else than to seek his fortune and increase his Amonour.

His father though sad that Taradoc would be leaving was also secretly pleased that his son would be seeing the world. He provided Taradoc with a spare hurricane lantern and dug out an old backpack which his mother packed with provisions from the family store.

Taking his leave of Jared the old adventurer handed him a corked phial. ‘Fortune potion this is. Never had cause to use it in my last few years but if you’re going to be an adventurer you’ll need all the luck you can get, young Taradoc. Two doses there are in there.’ Then stuffing a crumpled old map into Taradoc’s hands, ‘this ‘ere map apparently leads to an old well….don’t look at me like that…full of treasure they say it be. Coins from noble folk in days gone by like tossed down there in return for wishes…’

Then hugging his mother and shaking both his father and Jared by the hand Taradoc took his leave of Salamonis by the city’s eastern gate.

With one last look at the city that had been his home these past seventeen years he turned back to the rising sun set of into his new life as an adventurer. Maybe one day he’d return with great Amonour, wearing a fancy set of armour, his pockets full of gold and would court a noble lady.
